Malta based hotel software provider attracts new executive management team to foster international expansion.
AddaJet, a Malta based company specializing in central reservation systems, today announced the beta launch of Busy Rooms, a full service distribution company designed to help accommodation providers (e.g. hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, resorts and apartments) and online travel channels to navigate through the complex and cumbersome global electronic distribution networks. The company further announced significant additions to the executive management team who will lead the aggressive international expansion.
Busy Rooms, based on addaJet technology, offers accommodation providers a central platform for electronic room sales. Companies participating in the service will be able to completely outsource electronic distribution. Busy Rooms can handle contracting, loading and updating online travel agencies, central reservation systems, the GDS as well as other distribution outlets, at the same time as giving accommodation providers the luxury of only needing to maintain one system. This provides ultimate control while enjoying hassle-free distribution and placement over a large distribution network.
With immediate effect, the company will be run by a new management team. Sascha Hausmann (CEO), Clifton Dingli Bennetti (CTO) and Lars Hahn (CFO) will be overseeing the expansion efforts. Hausmann and Hahn, German citizens, have relocated to Malta where the new venture will establish its global headquarters. Both have previously served as CEO and CFO of international businesses focused on hospitality solutions. Clifton Dingli Bennetti, co-founder of addaJet, will head technology and development.
During the last two years the company has attracted customers in Malta, Dubai, Egypt, Germany Italy and Latvia. As part of the expansion, the new management team has recruited Werner Meyer as VP Distribution and Andrew Ransley as VP Sales Europe, Middle East and Africa. Both Meyer and Ransley have served as senior executives in a variety of hospitality companies.
The new Busy Rooms platform as well as more detailed information about the expansion will be available during World Travel Market in London between the 4th and 7th November, the official launch of the service.
