The Situation

The Waterfront Hotel has been a custom er of Busy Rooms booking engine technology since 2010. However, with changing markets, the hotel wanted to improve online exposure and therefore needed a more complete solution which allows for easy management and optimization of rooms sales.

The Goals
  • To have an all-in-one solution to more easily manage, monitor and review all revenue, marketing and distribution functions, including competitor rates and customer reviews.
  • To increase both occupancy and overall revenue of the property
The Approach

Website: In order to attract more direct bookings the hotel needed a full search engine optimized website to showcase the unique selling points of the property.

In order to fully optimize room sales, the Waterfront decided to join Busy Rooms Full Membership Program which includes the following services:

The Central Reservation System (CRS) which enables the hotel to more easily manage and optimize the sale of rooms. This module includes Distribution Management, Content Management, Reputation Management & Rate Shopping.

The Internet Booking Engine allows the hotel to receive direct bookings via its website, mobile, and social media platforms. On top of this guests are able to package flights, activities, transfers & tours together with the hotels rooms.

With the 3rd party contract management Busy Rooms analysed which online sales channels generate additional dem and for The Waterfront. Busy Rooms then connected the hotel to these channels via their central distribution agreements. As a result the hotel has received additional bookings without the hassle of having to negotiate, contract and maintain multiple online sales channels.
