Vacancy: Marketing Executive

Job Mission:

The role is responsible for coordinating the company’s sales and marketing activities. The marketing duties include planning, coordinating and implementing marketing programs to identify and acquire new customers and positively position our brand.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop (content creation) and maintain a sales and marketing collateral tool kit e.g. eshot templates, presentations, guidelines, best practices.
  • Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns (on/offline)
  • Managing social media and external profiles.
  • Market & competitor scanning: Obtain price lists, sales collateral, demos of competitors, collate info, store and distribute to team.
  • Maintenance of the company Cheat Sheet.
  • Scan & monitor the market to identify industry trends and events. Collate and distribute info.
  • Provide CRM support to Sales Team e.g. running queries, extracting ad hoc reports etc.
  • Recommendation of new regional/international events (tradeshows, speaker opportunities, conferences). Assisting in planning of confirmed events.
  • Updating the events planner
  • Coordinating marketing campaigns and eshot requests from the sales team.
  • Identify & recommend alternative media options.
  • Coordinate translation of sales and marketing materials, product and website.
  • Organizing hotel references, testimonials & case studies.
  • Supporting the Sales Managers/Agents with information, coordinating basic requests & general communication.
  • Helping with specific ad-hoc sales projects (e.g. sales support, road-show organization, research and development of an emerging market etc).
  • Organizing quarterly sales meetings
  • Regular stock takes of sales collateral to ensure sufficient quantities are available in each sales location.
  • Monthly submission to track web leads + numbers of email enquiries.


  • Support CEO and VP Sales and Head of Marketing on special projects
  • Supporting Sales Managers and VPs in coordinating events, conferences, sales trips, and other sales related activities


This position has daily interactions with hotels (clients), team members, journalists, travel trade specialists and various departments within the organization. In many cases, interactions with both internal and external parties will be at mid and upper management levels.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Strong sales, analytical, organization, communication and people skills required.
  • Working knowledge of hotel revenue/ hotel sales management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Social media and digital marketing savvy
  • Good understanding of publishing tools
  • Good understanding of google analytics, SEO and SEM
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, products and procedures
  • Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment.

  • Have strong negotiation skills
